The Classic FM Doctors on Air Medical Mission is a corporate social responsibility initiative of a partnership of organisations with a desire to supplement the healthcare services that exists for the poor in Obalende. The Medical Mission was developed by Doctors on Air, a medical radio programme sponsored by PathCare, Nigeria’s leading medical laboratory in partnership with Classic FM, to meet the needs of Obalende’s underprivileged in an accessible and sustainable way.Screening services to be provided include but are not limited to:· Free Consultations with doctors· Breast and cervical cancer screening· Diabetes and cholesterol screening· Kidney Function tests· Eye tests· Dental Check ups· Paediatric check-up· HIV testing and counselling· Family Planning clinic· Referrals to Primary Health Centres/General Hospitals· Free drugsDATE: August 13, 2011VENUE: St George’s Boys School (Falomo, Ikoyi, Lagos)TIME: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
